DalSemi produce a number of products:

TINI Board (Model 390, Release 1.xx w/ 512K NV SRAM The board contains the TINI CPU, Ethernet, memory, etc. At US$50, excellent value!!!

The board is usually plugged into a Developer Station, Connector, Socket or a Socket with a regulator (see below).

Developer Station A socket with lots of extra goodies including 4Mb or RAM and lots of IO expansion. You plug a (separately purchased) TINI Board into this Developers station.

This board is best suited to hardware developers and others who really want to look at the full potential of TINI. At US$450 it is quite expensive.

TINI Connector (AMP 68 pin) The root connector for the TINI board is a 68-pin SIMM right-angle connector with metal latches that is made by a number of manufacturers. DalSemi use a version from AMP (part # 822021-3) that they offer for US$2.00.

You would use this connector to allow a TINI board (separately purchased) to be used as part of a larger project or if you are confortable providing appropriate 5V power and connectors.

Sockets 4.75 to 5.25V DC Jack (Includes 68-pin SIMM connector) DalSemi offers a socket with a 68-pin SIMM connector attached and the following for US$20.00: An RJ45 (Ethernet socket), RJ11 (1-Wire net socket), DB9 (RS232 socket), iButton clip, and +5V DC power connector.

You need to provide regulated 5V DC power and, of course, a TINI board (separately purchased), some 1-Wire hardware - attched via an RJ-11 connector, and a 10baseT Ethernet connector.

Sockets 8 to 20V AC/DC Jack (Includes 68-pin SIMM connector) DalSemi also offers a socket with a 68-pin SIMM connector attached and a regulator for US$35. It includes an RJ45 (Ethernet socket), RJ11 (1-Wire net socket), DB9 (RS232 socket), iButton clip, and a 8 to 20V AC/DC jack to feed an onboard +5V regulator.

This is probably the easiest way to start as everything you need to start is provided, just add a TINI Board (separately purchased), some 1-Wire hardware - attached via an RJ-11 connector, a 10baseT Ethernet connector and a just about any power plugpack.
